Every Learner Matters
The DEN — Department of Educational Needs — supports Primary and Secondary pupils with additional learning needs. It also assists children learning English as an additional language and those who need emotional or social support.
Understanding Each Child
Identifying needs early allows the team to plan intervention and track individual progress. Support is offered in the classroom, in the DEN, or through a combination of both.
Confidence & Independence
Children are encouraged to develop strategies they can use independently and to recognise their own abilities. The department provides a caring, secure environment in which they can build confidence.
Joining Baobab
Families should share known educational or medical needs during the admissions process. Parents and the school consider together whether Baobab can provide appropriate support.
